2014 WINNERS SEE ALL RANKED PICTURES
URBAN 2014 international street photo contest, organized by dotART cultural association, will accept entries from the 1st of April 2014.
Now in its fifth edition, URBAN has as its main theme daily life in the city, which is seen through street photography: real, instant images, that capture moments, people, faces, streets, buildings and other elements capable of telling stories woven into the urban fabric. URBAN unveils the city and its secrets.
The novelty of this edition is the new section Stories & Portfolios, in which you can propose a sequence of images that tell a story with a free subject.
To take part, just follow the instructions on the Upload page and the Stories & Portfolios page. Works must be submitted no later than the
31st of May 2014 15th of June 2014 (new deadline). See rules.
Professional artists, photographers and communication experts will judge entries and choose the winners (jury members are currently being selected, with the final panel to be announced shortly). After the closure of the competition, works selected by the jury will receive awards and will then appear in a collective exhibit before the end of 2014.
The total prize money is more than € 3,000!

Capture in an image the city's chromatic games, the predominance of a particular color, colorful elements that stand out in the monotony of the surrounding environment, a sky that is tinged with an unusual shade: a section for those who love the color and the particular effects that can create in a photograph.
The basic element of life comes in many forms in our eyes, combined with the surrounding environment and interacting with people and animals, in the city and into nature. The water offers an infinite number of artistic ideas to photographers.
New section in which you can propose a set of photos with a free subject: thematic portfolios, photojournalism and storyboards (sequences of images that tell a story). The photographer is free to choose the topic, style, setting and subjects they prefer. [UPLOAD YOUR STORIES]
